But right now All the blendshapes are connected and 'work', I stress on the 'work' because I had a set of unusual delays when mirroring the blendshapes.
The calculating process for the computer (when mirroring a blendshape with the wrap function)took a ridiculously long time for some reason, and in the end I had to create the blendshapes on a seperate scene then imported them back in. So after the run around Maya gave me I'm incredibly happy to be past this point.
