Blendshaping Rhea Monroe pt 2

Finally creating the blendshapes, since there aren't that many for her I expect to be done tomorrow.

I'm now making blendshapes for Rhea, even though she might not talk as such or use all the expressions I create in the end for this project, I think in future it will be good to have a model who is capable of talking and using all the expressions necessary.

Rigging Rhea Monroe Pt 3

I had to restrain the hair a bit so it didn't lose its overal shape, otherwise it'd be a completely different design. I think I may tweak the looseness of some of the bottom strands so they don't seem so stiff though.

In the end 55 joint chains had to be dynamically enhanced, it t'was beautifully tedious~

Rigging Rhea Monroe pt 2

This is going to be a short status update. After completing the rigging of Rhea's body I've been concentrating on making the hair move dynamically and, since there's over 30 joints that need a semi long process to be done its taking a while; but hopefully I should be finished with that this evening and will be able to quickly make her blendshapes next week.

Rigging Rhea Monroe pt 1

I've been so engrossed with my work I forgot to post these progress pictures up(its like a week overdue). I am currently using the pose deformer to fix a few parts on Rhea's body then I'll finish rigging, and then the long awaited skinning of the hair can begin~

Since I'm still not satisfied with the way the ambient on the hair looks I'll be getting help with that side of the production before I beginning "animating".
I'll also have to darken the details on her skin textures since their practical in visible right now, as well as use more of the skin shader attributes since she does look a little waxy when the lights are on~

Speed Challenge 1

Although I won't be taking part in the speed painting challenge anymore I still find it a fun and freeing excersise so I'll be posting the speed paintings I create from the challenge here~
